ABOUT ME
Racial Justice and Health Equity Researcher, Trainer & Professor, International Speaker, Inner Change Agent
For the last twenty years I have worked to raise awareness around Mental Illness and Suicide among Black Americans. As a health disparities and inequalities researcher, I also work to reveal the devastating impact that race-based and gender-based advantage and disadvantage can have on the mind and body. Simply put, the work that I do is a mix between a Diversity and Equity Trainer and a Wellness Coach.
Inequitable environments, such as our workplaces, neighborhoods; education and health systems, set the stage for a host of negative social and health consequences. When you work with me you can expect compassion, transparency, and a partner on your journey to building a more equitable and healthier environment. Want to learn more?
